Differentiating dark interactions with perturbation

چکیده

A cosmological model with an energy transfer between dark matter (DM) and (DE) can give rise to comparable densities at the present epoch. The work deals perturbation analysis, parameter estimation Bayesian evidence calculation of interacting models dynamical coupling that determines strength interaction. We have considered two cases, where interaction is a more recent phenomenon in distant past. Moreover, we quintessence DE equation state Chevallier-Polarski-Linder (CPL) parametrisation flow from DM DE. Using current observational datasets like cosmic microwave background (CMB), baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO), Type Ia Supernovae (SNe Ia) redshift-space distortions (RSD), estimated mean values parameters. analysis calculation, shown as brief early preferred over

Differentiating between Modified Gravity and Dark Energy

The nature of the fuel that drives today’s cosmic acceleration is an open and tantalizing mystery. We entertain the suggestion that the acceleration is not the manifestation of yet another new ingredient in the cosmic gas tank, but rather a signal of our first real lack of understanding of gravitational physics. By requiring that the underlying gravity theory respects Birkhoff’s law, we derive ...

The Cold Dark Matter Density Perturbation

The outstanding problem in cosmology today is undoubtedly the origin and evolution of large scale structure. In this context, no model has proved as successful as the standard Cold Dark Matter (CDM) model, based on a flat (scale-invariant) spectrum of density fluctuations growing under gravitational instability. Nevertheless, pressure has recently been exerted on the model both from analyses of...

Neutrino Interactions with Nuclei and Dark Matter

Even though the combined laboratory, astrophysical and cosmological evidence implies that neutrinos have masses, neutrinos provide only a small cosmic dark matter component. The study of solar neutrinos provides important information on nuclear processes inside the Sun as well as on matter densities. Moreover, supernova neutrinos provide sensitive probes for studying supernova explosions, neutr...

Dark Matter with Density-dependent Interactions

The decay and annihilation cross sections of dark matter particles may depend on the value of a chameleonic scalar field that both evolves cosmologically and takes different values depending on the local matter density. This possibility introduces a separation between the physics relevant for freeze-out and that responsible for dynamics and detection in the late universe. We investigate how suc...

How Dark is ‘Dark’? Electromagnetic Interactions in the Dark Sector

We review the physical and cosmological consequences of two possible electromagnetic couplings to the dark sector: (i) a neutral lightest dark-matter particle (LDP) with nonzero electric and/or magnetic dipole moments and (ii) a charged next-to-lightest dark-matter particle (NLDP) which decays to a neutral LDP. For scenario (i) we find that a relatively light particle with mass between a few Me...
